To Remember
Dear NM,
(One day you’ll ask me why I don’t use your name, won’t you?)
I have to make a point of writing down something you did today, a big thing. You are learning to make wise choices and it’s great that you can be motivated in that direction.
After the frenzy that you and your brother were in last night (late hour? no fooseball?) at church, it’s great that you’ve done a 180 degree turn and are making a point of behaving well. You are letting me know what you are doing. You’ve made a point, several times today, of “putting on a happy face” and doing what I ask. This verse easily comes to my mind:
“Do all things without complaining or arguing so that you may be come blameless and pure, children of God…” Phil. 2:14-15 and 1/2
You’re making everything so easy this morning and I love to see you excited about what ever you happen to be doing. Well, maybe not so excited over math, but still, you did it without grieving and today we rediscovered some of that math genius that’s been hiding for a while. What a great gift from God you are!
Love,
Mom
