I know I've been bad about responding to tags lately (I'm sorry!), so I decided to get on the ball when I saw Jen tagged me.

5 Things I Want My Kids To Know Before They Grow Up

1. Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your strength, with all your soul and with all your mind. No matter how bad--or good--things get, you should always remember God should be your everything.
   


2. Remember who you are. Never think of yourself more highly than you ought to and learn to put others first.
   


3. Unkind words directed at you are more of a reflection of the people who say them, not you. So be an edifying person or keep quiet.
   


4. Learn to think and love to laugh. Don't be a lemming! Don't be afraid to think and act outside the box and don't forget to find humor where and when it's needed.
   


5. Learn to argue. No matter what, you will eventually find someone you don't agree with. Learn to discuss your point of view with respect to the other person and learn to be respectful if you are still at odds in your opinions.
