God's Sooooo Good to me
I came to the realization that I complain too much about things I have to control over, like how NM reacts when he eats off diet food. Bad mommy, bad mommy! There's been too much focusing on the problems that I neglect to notice all the good stuff.
After bible study tonight, I drive up to the house and I see a toy boat and a toy truck and a soccer ball on our lawn: evidence that Fun Was Had Here, but I didn't get to see it. And again I was reminded to focus on what's important.
What's important:
- Listening to my son figure out a completely different way to arrive at a solution than what he's been taught
- Watching my son get excited about getting to learn the letter K
- Listening to them have giggle fits in the back of the car instead of telling them to keep it down
- Remembering that sometimes it's better to be an observer than a leader
- Giving God the thanks and praise for all the good things that happen (and being thankful for the reminders to notice)

Hey, since you're working on the letter K you simply must head to Costco and see if yours has kites likes ours does. :-)
