How many hours will you be doing this? Will it interfere with your work?

My friend, T's daughter has done much better after she started home schooling her.

Sounds like you have a lot ahead of you. It's good that you already know people who's been thru the same thing. :)
Ayen, I'm not sure how many hours it will end up being. But the more I read and the more I go over the materials I have, it becomes more and more obvious that the answer is "24/7." People who do this tell me it's not re-creating a classroom inside of your house, but it's a completely different way to look at learning. Every little chance you get, you're teaching the kids something. Whether it's day to day living like caring for each other by doing chores or going on a field trip to log the kinds of plants and animals we happen to see. It really is a lifestyle, not just a chunk of hours in a day :)

Fortunately for me, I don't have a lot of work and I have the benefit of being able to say no to new projects if they are too big.
